In his work for Royal Plus, Inc., a leading disaster restoration firm, attorney J. Christopher Llinas handled a wide range of legal issues. For example, Chris Llinas addressed disputes with contract collections before they moved into litigation. In his work with Royal Plus, Chris Llinas is also addressed issues relating to construction, real estate, and insurance law.
Believing in public service, Llinas works with several non-profits, such as Diakonia in West Ocean City, Maryland. This agency provides housing for persons in recovery and a shelter for street people. He has raised some $5,000 for Diakonia by participating in Ironman Florida in 2012.
J. Christopher Llinas has also served for several years as a logistical coordinator for the Prayer Vigil for the Earth, a yearly occurrence at the Mall in Washington, DC. He not only spent considerable time in the vigil itself, but assisted the National Park Service, vendors, and event coordinators.
Llinas also committed himself to the Delmarva Educational Foundation, which found scholarship opportunities for local students. Additionally, he wrote memoranda of understanding with the foundation’s funding entities.
For the Assateague Coastal Trust, a conservation group, he completed Ironman Louisville in 2014, collecting almost $2,000 in donations. Chris Llinas also does pro bono work for the Ocean City Running Club and serves as its treasurer.
